What are the benefits of purchasing a watch in those boutiques that only carry that particular brand as compared to normal authorized dealers that carry various brands?

Are there any benefits purchasing from boutiques? Other than having limited editions and being the first to obtain new releases , are there any other benefits ?

Authorized dealers are guaranteed to give much better discounts , so who will actually purchase from boutiques ?

^Some boutiques like AP give you extended warranty from 3 to 5 years. Some like AP are also getting better at controlling inventory so even non-limited but popular stainless steel pieces are likely found at boutiques only.

Just curious guys,for luxury watch that are not as common as rolex panerai, where do you guys do the authentication check at? Assuming buying from carousel or reputable shops, am thinking of getting a pre owned sinn u1 but most of the watches I bought are brand new so do not have any experiences buying pre owned pieces

Boutique open 1 bottle of bubbly for you but AD sometimes if you small time, don't even have water for you.
Boutique attitude and service better if that's your thing.

they won't tell you there's another.

take it or leave it. what expectation you expect?

sometimes u ask don't even have stock, you want order? 50% deposit if not the door is right there.

Wah say....thanks I didn't know they recently extended all warranty to 5 years. Grateful mine was May 2017, just checked online extended to May 2022..wohoo!. This is really great of AP, especially their servicing charges are not cheap.

went to JLC to view this, JLC Polaris Memovox LE, pretty hefty piece. uses JLC Cal 956. thick but solidly made.
the rubber strap is quite comfortable and the clasp, also quite solid.
I think most are reserved, list price as told by the SA is $19,000 but she cannot confirm as the full collection is not in yet.

bi-directional inner bezel, alarm complication. sex but cannot afford.
