Guys you all are still keeping those fundamental stocks that u all holding?

I have not sold anything lately. Just hold and ride out this storm. Pick up some DBS whenever there was a drop. So see coming week can buy more or sell if price is right.

Actually, curious what's most of you guys investment strategy for SGX market?
REIT and dividend stocks are what most people looked at from my observation.

Just wondering is there anyone still looking at value and growth kind here?

Gaga pick durians on Monday. Strong believe that DJ will recover at least 400 points.

Think the list of retaliation would continue on both sides until a truce is called for pending negotiations. Sentiment would be fragile before this truce is called. Many analysts are saying that there may not be a full blown trade war and these tariffs announcements are pre-posturing to strengthen their hand before negotiations. However, I think Trump means business and has an objective of reducing the trade deficit - he would not stop before his objectives are achieved and that means that there is an actual risk of trade war. So far, comments from White house and Trump has not been very aligned and that is causing a lot of gyrations in the markets. I do not think that Investors are bailing out as yet but as these volatilities continue to rock the market, and the indices head south, there may come a point where Investors may lighten their positions as well. Already there has been calls for a 40% correction. Yield curves are flattening... guess it is a trading market for now and one needs to be nimble.

Because the media sells the story that reits and dividend stock is good. Herd mentality

I have not be collecting any dividend share or reits. Only buying growth and blue chips like DBS.

Cause throughout the years i kept reading books and trying out methods on RTS with them. Have been quite successful with oversea market, especially US one.
But noticed that,it's either the market is moving too slowly or i am not seeing what most of the market imvestor/trader is doing.(which is really volume, reit and dividends). A strong volume in Blue chip stocks as well. The swing is not big herr as well.

I have just funded my FSM account to buy HK ETF. Besides ETF, any good dividend stocks to recommend?

HK stocks, have to pay 0.1% stamp duty but ETF no stamp duty (something like UK), but at least 0.1% not as big as UK's 0.5%....
