I own both models and can safely say they are 99% the same, only the top plastic cover for the scanner one is matte and one is glossy. They even come with same instruction manual lol. L220 is older model and 360 is later model.

Would it make more sense for me to get ink tank printer instead of laser if I intend to use 3rd party ink? Looking at the L360 too.

Need 3-in-1 and duplex, will be printing maybe ~100 pages a month.

Yo Bro. All my friends be it Canon or Epson user all using “Third Party” ink. Qoo10 having promo $30 coupon off $200 now. I just ordered my Epson L360 as I no need wireless printing. The coupon expire by today 😊

sort by cheapest and free shipping.

You can also print photos with cheap inks if you buy a pack of A4 photo paper

.
Do take note Epson new ink refill design prevent use of 3rd party ink.

maybe its just the bottle tip different? can use that tip on third party bottles? anyone with new printer can try?

i just started using L6170 for printing my A4 full sized color flyers - only "Standard Vivid" quality makes the cut.

although the page yield advertised "Each black ink bottle has a page yield of up to 7,500 black-and-white pages, while the combination of the color inks can generate up to 6,000 color pages."

i'm already going thru roughly 2 - 70ml ink bottles for only 400 pages.
Estimation based on the level drops (using alot of magenta)

I understand the yield is based on the type of image printed but, its kind of a far cry from the advertised. :/

Is everyone page yield very solid?
