xiaomi eu is a custom rom. if u try anything without an unlocked bootloader goodbye phone.

This modified eu rom (With full Google Playstore/thingy integration) is based on official China rom and it is intended to be used by global users! Many of us here use it for other Xiaomi phone models including myself. :)

It is legit. However, you need to know the stuffs like, unlock bootloader, know how to use TWRP to flash it and bla bla bla..:s22:

Wait! Not sure if there is a version yet for flashing the Redmi Note 5 (China set). Needs to read up and double ceck.

Looks legit... since its based on 8.1.. unlike india's set which is still at 7.1

I also read that the india set is a PITA to unlock the bootloader

note 5 plus doesnt exist. note 5 pro is india only.

note 5 is how everywhere else in the world calls the phone. The base price will go up for a week or 2 due to lazada's "GREAT SALE". it happens on every "SALE".

oh i'd rather wait for official version then

i want a rom that i flash one time then can use OTA thereafter

dammit i want to do it before i start using it.

Actually the EU rom usually has their own OTA but not incremental.. and it uses TWRP to deliver the updates..

Nobody is really sure when the official one will be released

yup only when the mod or developer of MIUI made the announcement.
