I've done some comparisons between the Indian and China Note 5.

China Note 5 LTE 1/3/5/7/8
India Note 5 Pro LTE 1/3/5

Band 3 is a must for LTE in SG, Band 7 is used in addition for Singtel and M1 if I'm not wrong.

As for the dimensions and placement of buttons and ports, it seems to be identical for both versions. In other words, we shouldn't have a problem buying screen protectors or casings.

Is my understanding correct?

Case should be the same..note 5 is coming today.. Will compare with 5 plus for the front screen holes.

Great! If you can, download an app and test the LTE band connections, I find 'LTE Discovery' very useful for Android.

Am using a china redmi note 5...been 2 weeks now. Getting consistent 4G all the way.

have you try both 4g on? as mentioned in their China site that Redmi note5 can support both 4g at same time. old series is only 4g/3g

Redmi note 5 global officially announced for malaysia.
999RM as rumoured for the 4/64 version.

Preorder from 25 apr to 27 apr, ETA 2 may.
