Hi, recently I purchased a Sony Android TV (x8500f) for my room. 1st time using Android TV. It's connected to a Yamaha soundbar via the HDMI ARC. I noticed that with the youtube app, the SB shows that the audio is just a stereo sound. With Netflix app, I can see it's dolby sound. I was checking the tv setup but couldn't find anything to do with it. Is it due to some setting issues or youtube is only playing stereo sound?

Is 55X9000F the latest model? Im moving house in sep/oct so if newer models are expected soon i rather wait.

I was pretty set on 2018 samsung Q7F until someone pointed out 9000F has full array local dimming while samsung is edge.

Yes latest model if u are going for Sony there are 2 main sales periods for them mid year and end year

Based on past experience what happens after mid year sale? Price goes back to normal until year end sale? Or price remains but year end sale got free gifts since clearing stock for next year’s models?

best denki current offer price 20/5/18 at $2,999. I don't know whether any product that is included in the purchase price. Sony offer price is $3,149 until 01 july.

Sony's list price is $3199. They claim normal price $3999. Was at Best Denki they also put $3199. Supposedly offer price for this period.

Selling price at retailers is always lower.

HN website put $3199. BD Bishan also $3199 but supposedly is Sony sale which is valid till June mah.
