Sony has replied to my email. Seems the warranty needs to be registered online within a week of PURCHASE. So its not from date of delivery.

Which is different from what some sales people have said. Looks like no buying in advance for me. Will just wait till im about to move then buy.

My case different lah. Im only moving house in sep/oct.

Some sales ppl claim no problem buy now deliver later & warranty start from delivery date. According to sony u must register within a week. So if buy now in june, by the time deliver in sep/oct i rugi 4 months warranty.

Never believe them as they are commission driven. Offer is always come and go. Miss this one just wait for the next.
