Home-A-Genius Smart Home Solution

Hello All!

We've been hard at work to create a smart home hub that integrates various local mainstream smart home brands (such as Xiaomi, Broadlink, Philips, TP-Link, Alexa, Google Home and more) into a single platform.

We have called this platform Home-A-Genius and we believe it is now ready for prime time.

Currently we're having a launch event to win a $800 discount off our All-in-One Smart Home PRO Package. Check out our Facebook for more details...

Basically, the package will automate your ceiling lights/fan, air-conditioners and more. Easily voice control your smart devices from anywhere at home. Monitor and automatically record videos of your love ones or check on visitors at the main door with an IP Camera.

There are also several other interesting features that we offer, so feel free to check us out and feedback us at any time. Or PM us if you have any questions!

Cheers!
Home-A-Genius Team

Who's using RM Pro with Livolo rf switches and able to make them work consistently? I can learn the commands from the remote, but it never works consistently. Sometimes it works, but more often than not it takes repeated tries to turn on a switch. The Broadlink TC switches were lot more consistent in this aspect.
I am using RM Pro+ with livolo switch + google home. They all work very well together. To record livolo signal into RM Pro+, I believe you need the key chain remote. I bought them from lazada, very cheap since the local store that sold me the livolo switch didn't provide the remote.

Initially I had so much problems to get them to work but once you know what to look out, it became easier.

I have 3 lights switches and to control each switch I need 1 keychain remote for each switch. So in the end I have 3 remote. I pretty sure that each keychain remote with button A,B,C,D has unique frequency to pair with the switch. So I can't use 1 remote only to record into RM Pro+ to control all 3 switches unless I want all of them to turn on when I can on 1 button.

RM Pro+
- I used ihc on my iPhone
- I created UserDefine
- To create a button,
- click +
- learn RF (this is the tricky part)
- instead of hold the button on my keychain remote, i pressed 1-2 seconds, let go and immediately, pressed 1-2 seconds and repeat until it learn the frequency.
- once it learned then after that it is easy, just press the button again and it will learn.
- after that just test it and sometime it works very well and sometime it doesn't
- if it doesn't work properly for example...intermittent...then rm pro+ didn't learn correctly or signal not strong, I would repeat the steps again. I am not sure which steps caused the problem the frequency learn or the last press button, so sometime last step of button press..i might pressed a little longer like 1.5 sec, instead of pressed and let go.

IHC
After that I would create Scene in IHC, example Ceiling Lights On

Link/Sync Broadlink in Google Assistance/Home

then I will test the command "Activate Ceiling Lights On"
to see whether it work. If it does not, I just redo the re-learn process again in IHC. Once they all work using IHC app and Google assistance. It will continue working well. No more issues.

Hope this help anyone using Livolo and RM Pro+ and Google Home. Good Luck!!

Yes. They worked well together but some how the remote and fan had to be closer than normal. If you have issue after recording, just test it near to the fan.

Not sure of Singtel box, but the rest as long as normal IR and RF, should be able to. I know starhub box (samsung IP TV) cannot.

Do note that for IR it had to be within visible range.

Has anyone tried having both Amazon echo and Google home mini connected to the same RM PRO. Does it cause any issues or incompatibility?

hi,somehow I can't upgrade the firmware of my RM pro+. It keeps saying "network error. Please check your network connection." I've swapped connection to the Wi-Fi hotspot on my mobile phone and tried using eControl to no avail. Anyone encounter the same problem? Because of this failure, I can't add devices to my RM pro+ in iHC. :-(
