Compared to other plans on data price seems like on a slightly high side.

Well i guess, they also have to subsidy those on UNO $8/mth plan. They don't really earn much from us, hence need to get more take-ups for their new public plans.

I just received a sms from them, telling me to switch to the $35/mth plan. it's a trap

the $85 Xtra85 doesn't seem attractive since people can easily get the Ultimate $80 (80GB).

Those on UNO plan can add additional 8GB data. Total bill $38/mth.

I'm rather disappointed with MR's newly announced mobile plans. Initially, the SGD8 sounds like MR's intentions to disrupt the mobile market. however, today's announced plan still resembles someword similar of what the rest of the players are offering. in fact, its generally not very attractive. sgd35 for 7gb verses sgd38 for 9gb with uno plus add-on max monthly plan, with flexibility to adjust accordingly. no compiling reason with the acception of MRBB subscribers having 3gb extra which adds on to the little bonus. also, the fact of them encouraging existing adopters to change to their new plans and not being able to switch back to the uno/ultimate plans just doesn't vouch their promise of subscribers being able to downgrade/upgrade. this, to me just isn't right and sincere. gives me a feeling they are just using us as gimics to get in more subscribers so they could perhaps later on be able to buy more airtime from Starhub thus maybe later on come up with more attractive plans. come on MR, with loyal subscribers like us who have been waiting so patiently and till our necks long long, this is the kind of output from you? no good, most definitely!!! :(

Uno Plan is only for Friends of MyRepublic. What does it mean? Already a user for their BB service?

Agree. They trying their luck to switch those on UNO plan to their new plan. How about no? I switch because at this price point, it's really attractive. The new plans for public is almost the same.

However, one thing that let them stand out is the amount of free minutes and sms they give. +caller ID too. Their roaming is better than circles.

The fact that it's under Starhub network. Oh well

the only reason why I'm staying with their UNO is the $6 roaming for indo/msia. Anyone tried the data roam? is it ok? I'll be trying for Batam next weekend.

The addon pricing.

I'm currently using their internet plan so I'm looking at smart 35

7 + 3 GB Data
1000 minutes
1000 SMS
Free incoming calls and SMS
Free Caller ID

For $35.. Seems quite good for me..

I'm still considering.. Not sure if the network is stable (drop calls / out of reach) :s13:

Seeing the complaints in this thread and the another thread (MyRepublic Mobile), network reliability is a question... Hope they can improve asap.

Call and SMS definitely no issues. It's the data. But really depends cos if I'm on the move my network is definitely unstable. But calls no issues.
