May I know is there any instruction manual for the remote itself.
Also The seller asked to press the "SET" with "Power" which "Set" is not found. I tried other buttons like "OK" or "TV" and none works.
If convenient can you upload the instructions here.

i went courts somerset, they okayed it....

may be possible they dun have the compatible list from website and only used the one u linked. trying showing them the other list.......

Maybe you should show them the IMDA list too.

Show them the lists liao, the salesman said their is the latest. He said tried to scan over the weekend but cannot so i walk around then go back n ask them to try and can so the salesman apology They have a lot of stock at Toa Payoh Courts.

Can't really find one which matches mine(could be due to poor eyesight)
One distinction is my first row the 2 buttons next to Power are un-marked,
Went back and tried pressing it anyway, still no light.

You brought this to replace/supersedes which STB remote?

Not sure what light you're referring to as there is no indicator light on the remote. And the transmitter end doesn't emit visible light!

The remote which I provided you the link has a small indicator light beside the DVB power button.

In short, think you got the wrong "universal" remote!

I was there at about 11 plus am today. Maybe after my incident that they realise. Before that they keep showing me the list they had.
