Really wanted to get this but it’s so difficult to find this phone. But also, not sure if it’s a good move from Pixel 2 XL to this. �

Changed back to Sony after using Pixel 2 XL. XZ2P is by far a much better phone. Better built quality, clearer front speaker without distorting, better and brighter display without color shift off angle, black smearing and dirty display, (yes, I am saying a good quality IPS > pOLED), fully support local network, eg. Singtel network+Volte+WiFi calling, stronger mobile reception and wifi signal, option for dual 4G or microsd card. Better low light shot. Really a huge jump from previous Xperia. The vibration system really does make video and music more lively, whenever I use back my P2XL or XZP, they felt so liveless now even when playing same content...

My impression so far.

If as per video demo, it is quite responsive but I guess you cannot install any tempered glass screen protector if I want to use this style cover.

I do heard that the responsiveness of the torch screen is not so good so not sure how true.

Hey bro, I am using tempered glass too. I believe the video also states that tempered glass is applied. I got the tempered glass on the same day I got the phone from Sony center.

I think OP only meant that XZ2P is more lively compared to other phones without the vibration function.

It cannot mean that all other phones will be liveless without it.

What I mean is the vibration system. Front stereo speaker are much louder and clearer.
Using the USB-C to 3.5mm seem to be the same though. If need more volume can consider using the pixel or razer dongle.. The shure USB-c cable also works fine.

Finally managed to grab hold of my Xperia XZ2 Premium (Chrome Black) from one of the Sony Store yesterday night and immediately get it protected with the Full Frame Tempered Glass Screen Protector and the Thick Transparent Casing from MobileLite.
