I actually checked Seamless Bespoke last weekend, didn't come prepared and was a bit lost during the first appointment, so i'm going around checking off the rack suits to get some idea and saw the BB Tailors. Anyway will check your recommendations.
In general, is it better to start with shirts and trousers first before proceeding to jackets or suits? I'm thinking of the following reasons:
1. Shirts and trousers have fewer details and are less overwhelming.
2. Shirts and trousers are far cheaper and hence mistakes due to miscommunication are less costly.
3. Some of the knowledge you learn from shirts and trousers transfers directly over to jackets/suits such as fabric and trousers fit.
4. You can first build some rapport with the tailor and also feel a little more comfortable with the shop environment. Also, in the meantime you can start asking for tips on possible jackets or suits you want to make in future without feeling awkward for asking questions and not actually making a jacket/suit since you are already a customer.
