Colour is really up to your preference. It’s hard for people to decide for you especially there is a buffet for it for the XR.

Personally I like the Product RED colour.

Actually I’m quite afraid about those new colours. Scared the paint will peel off sans the silver model. Hearsay the black is the same colour as the black on iPhone 7. Seems like really need to touch and see before buying.

Personally I feel it's how u take care of your phone.. if u use tight case especially plastic, then probably it will peel. I got no issues with the Matt black 7 plus.

Is it the matte black version? Well that phone got paint peel issue

My 7 matte black didn't have any peeling. But I personally don't like the black-ness. Prefer if it's slightly grey.

my dad currently is a singtel user on combo1 and he's paying about 19$ with his company corporate plan, but singtel has sent him 150$ voucher if he does a re-contract.

was thinking of getting an iphone 8 plus using this voucher, if not how could i better utilize it?

as he doesn't use data this much, i am considering to help him opt to the myrepublic plan at $8/mth and forgo the voucher instead.

If not iPhone 8 will do or even those mid range android phone if you want to save cost.

If want save cost, isn’t it better to use current phone?

My Republic $8 is no contract plan?

Singtel $19 x 24Mths = $456
iPhone 8+ 64GB for Combo 1 = $938 (ST online got no stock for iPhone 8+, not sure about it's retail shop)
Voucher = -$150
Total $1,244

My Republic $8 x 24Mths = $192
iPhone 8+ 64GB = $1,149 (Lower if able to get from other handphone shop or Carousell)
Total: $1,341

He happy can liao, seems his mind already set on $8 x 12 deal. How to beat $96 one year contract? If his father don’t use much data, get exp phone also underutilise.
