U OK to do a full restore? Setup as new, leave everything as default, put in 2 sim cards as normal. Important point to take note is do not change the "default mobile data" under settings, wireless and network, dual sim. I suspect its the same bug that I encountered b4 on my P20 Pro.

I went down to Huawei Service Centre. They suspect I used Phone Clone to transfer everything from LG to M20Pro, including LG system files and this may have messed up the Huawei system. They may be right.

I need to do factory reset again and transfer data selectively now. Glad that they know their stuffs. Thanks again to everyone who tried to help. I highly appreciate it.

To those planning to use Phone Clone, do take note of this.

Most of the time the face recognition unlocked before the fp does so it doesn't affect daily usage.

Just feel that the in screen fp technology still isn't great with all these limitations.

My mate RS I did not paste any tp the fingerprint sensor works perfectly.

For Mate 20 users, is the notification led bright and visible? The previous mate 10 is so faint and small. I noticed the Mate 20 pro has a pretty bright led.

Can we disable the LED? it's damn annoying when sleeping hahaah
