I can't get mine to work yet. NFC is on. Tried twice and so far haven't work yet. Maybe I tap the wrong place. Previously on iPhone and Apple Pay worked flawlessly. A bit disappointed by this.

For Google pay, just unlock your phone, no need to open any app, just tap. Make sure nfc is on.

at 96% battery life i can have 24hr 38 mins of standby

is that normal?

i remember it was much higher but not sure what happened

First thing, it's definitely more versatile cos it covers a very good range, 16,28,85,this is great for travelling and general purpose shooting. The Mate 20 only gave 17,28 and 56. I compared side by side with my wife's Pro and my regular Mate 20. Ultra wide angle definitely better. Lower nice and wider point of view with lower distortion. The standard zoom aka main camera definitely have advantage as the camera will use the 40MP to produce a photos with lower noise and more details. Having said that I think the Mate 20 camera is pretty good too, especially with good lighting. Low light wise, the Pro wins hand down, especially on the ultra wide angle portion.

You can manally zoom or tap the zoom button to cycle through the cameras. Wish they can follow LG which has icons for the respective cameras. Huawei camera software also don't seems to remember the last used zoom settings. Always default back to the standard camera.

yes, this one i must agree, besides the camera, the GPS is one of the best. you can try doing the walking. in the past when you fix on a place to go via walking, you got to wait a walk before you get the direction right. This one, you fix it and almost instantly, you know which direction to go.....amazing...other then that, the software and app really bad, not stable.

Was told GPS module is same as P20. May be due to faster processor.

Just to share. For my m20pro, I got uag plasma case from p2o mobile can use together with the full adhesive tempered glass from red white mobile. Uag case this time round has 1mm top and bottom clearance and doesnt push up the tempered glass.

Will monitor for a few days and update here.
