I do game clash royals and brawl stars.


It's 2 hr 40mins currently at 65%.
33% batt after 2 hr 40mins of SOT..7hrs since leaving home.

My SOT now is 2h40m too but at 93%, with 29h35m of time remaining.
All the way 4G without wifi. Of course I don't do gaming.

I do have wifi when am at home though.

And also i realised my whatsapp notification, it appears and after a while the sound then appears with the notification again. Does anyone has the same issue as well?

Oh easy if you can be like me, who never logged in Google. And I disabled Google apps except play services which cannot be disabled at all unless root.

How I sync? Store my backup files on Dropbox.

And I don't play games.
WhatsApp is not installed on mate 20 anyway since I have another spare phone.
Stop using Facebook standalone app, log on via browser instead.
And try brave or kiwi browser ,they are battery friendly but I'm leaning towards brave.

I'm using aqua mail as my default email app.
Business calendar pro as my default calendar.

Anyway, I am a light user. Just purely surfing browser and listening to music.sometimes stream online video through 4G since I have enough data.

After 10 days of usage on mate 20, the battery life is kinda on par with my rooted xiaomi max 3. Standby time ,the latter should be better.
So if mate 20 can be rooted.....

It's only when I place the phone in my locker at work, the battery drops 2% every 3hrs.
Till the last drop of battery left , the SOT per % is an average of 11-12mins.

A rooted Xiaomi max 2 can hit 17m SOT per %.that was the highest I encountered.

Do you get jitter lag when play brawl stars? Like move the character halfway the fella standstill then need to flick the movement stick again

FYI, I changed the tgsp at WWP, fp sensor is still hit & miss (more miss than hit).

So no perfect solution yet...

About the standby hours,
Try charging your phone to full, just leave it there and don't use it. The standby time will just increase.
Having to say that, SOT is definitely affected.

Low usage = high standby time.
High usage = low standby time.

Edited: You can't have best of both worlds.

The AI look at your usage pattern and estimate the standby time.

I did an experiment: dont open any games... standby time over 40 hours

Once I started playing games (eg SIM CITY, SkyForce reload) and keep it in the background.... the standby time decreases to under 15 hours. However, if the the rest of the day I don't open and play games, the phone can be used for over 15 hours and still have 40-50% juice left after.

MHW - got black border, can fit UAG
RWM - no black border, can fit UAG

C'mon, I'm not that cheapskate.

My device is using LG panel, batch 51, and I haven't had the issue on my device yet. I don't want to land in situation where I've invested in a premium TGSP and then I need to change my panel the following day.

The device has been so far so good, but it's only Day 8 and who knows I might get the green display issue on my set?
