Hi guys, just wondering if there is anyway to turn off the beautifying function on the mate 20 Pro? I keep getting lipstick when I try to take a selfie

Try to change to one of the modes, forgot was it Pro or something. Only 1 mode when I use on test phone didn't turn out beautified.

Anyone has experience with Huawei's 3 months screen warranty? Is it no questions asked straight replacement? And how long do they take to change the screen? Dropped my phone and there is a crack at the edge

Coming from xiaomi, I can swipe down from anywhere and notification will be shown.

Yes I find it quite soft esp compared to my u11+. Samsung and iPhone should have better speaker.

Aside I've had chance to test the camera more and these are my thoughts:
- Main cam great in low light, wide angle ok. Tele is bad in low light, should use this only in good light
- Monochrome mode is very disappointing in low light. The lack of dedicated mono lense shows. You're better off taking normal shots, then editing a bw filter after. Gets more details that way.
- Master AI is seriously impressive and streets ahead of what Samsung and LG have to offer.
-Night mode is really no joke, simply mind blowing, esp when used with main cam.
- Video recording is quite disappointing and the mic is not very good

Overall, I think cam is good but not as impressed as I thought I would be with the overall package

Wanted to get the Mate 20 RS but the $430 discount is too tempting and gotten the Mate 20 Pro.

Doubt the screen will be problem free but I am prepared to go to their service center..

Mate 20 is larger with bezel-less display, wide angle camera and has a headphone jack, but the camera lacks OIS and the screen is LCD..

P20 Pro is smaller, lacks headphone jack but is slightly cheaper, OLED screen and has a better camera for low light..

this qn has been asked a thousand times.. there's no clear winner, it really depends on what features you prioritize. i would take the m20 simply for it's wide and macro shots.
