Can I check with you guys for the IHC app, under aircon remote, if i want to set timer to switch off the aircon at a certain time, like 2am how to do it?

I check the app, it has the timer option and you choose either "Lap" or "Delay"

I think I should use "Lap" but when you set the time, the indicated time is not the same???

Select "Lap"
Set Up Time (let say 2am) 02:00
Repeated select "Everyday"
Change aircon setting "Off"

That should do the job. It should turn off the aircon at 2am daily. Regardless the aircon is on or off, broadlink will send signal to off the aircon at 2am daily. Tested and proven. Not too sure if you required to sync the aircon remote time to the current time but i sync my to be the same as my phone time.

If you want to set timer, select "Delay"
It will work as countdown timer

IHC can link up to GH to voice control the TC2 light switches. Do not assign the TC2 switches to any room in GH.

thanks it works great!!! thanks for the tip Aditshar!
I have left it alone for the longest time ever when they refused to dance together.

now the renaming exercise .. my bulbs are mostly hue and the naming causes conflicts with GH.. small issue.

* as a separate note, i realised the TC2 switches have to be added in IHC under
-> add device
-> "SWITCH"- TC2
rather than "WALL LIGHT SWITCH"
The later will just simply not work

"Recently there is bug about timer issue.

when your set 9:30pm, but it will automatically adjust to other time.

now the bug just fixed yet. you can disconnect the device and power it up . then try again.

Please test it and let us know result.
Thank you"

Broadlink just fixed the bug 2hrs ago. You may try to see if the solution works.

Thanks. I did that. As you can see from below the time shown is different.

Its personal preference. The ihc app is the newer version of the e-control app. IHC app is more of an experimental app with more features added to it. IHC app can link to GH or AA. IHC app will mess up your icons placement with every new update. The e-control app is straight forward stand alone with minor updates here and there. If you not gg to link to GH or AA, and prefer the older layout, you can try e-control.

IHC and e-Control, is it up to personal pref on the app to use? Why have 2?

Has anyone experience where after you added your TV in IHC, voice control is only available in alexa? No Google Home. I have also tried to Link broadlink to Google home and only my aircon was added in the list. Any idea how to fix it?

My TV is LG.

GH does not support TV template to-date. As a workaround, use scene in IHC and tell GH to activate that scene.

Just to add on to Aditshar's insight, eControl supports many templates submitted by users like you and me. You can just download it and start using without getting RMpro to learn your remotes. If you are using non-Broadlink wall switches, there are no templates in iHC to pair with your switches. You will need to go through the RF learning process which may require you to have a separate RF remote.

Does anyone know how to extract the RF codes for 3rd-party RF switches in e-control?

I'm using Yoogee 2-way switches and they are in the e-control app.
But when i extract using this, it's blank: https://github.com/NightRang3r/Broadlink-e-control-db-dump

issue here: https://github.com/NightRang3r/Broadlink-e-control-db-dump/issues/16

Trying to get the RF code extracted so i can use Home-Assistant to control the switches..

Yes, I managed to. You must share your eContorl config within the WLAN first so that it generates an updated jsonIRCode file. Nevertheless, you are not missing anything. This is not helpful at all because for some reasons, the extracted RF code can only be used to switch off the Yoogee switch. You can extract the same code using the Broadlink RM plugin too. So somehow, eControl is able to derive the on and off code using the same code command.

Since you are using a 2way Yoogee switch, you can get Home Assistant to learn the on/off RF code of the other peering switch via RM Pro. Save the trouble :p

hmmm.. i prefer to have discreet on and off, trying to see if i can get the raw RF codes.
these i believe are called the Broadlink Cloud Codes..

did you managed to do any further research on it?

i have 2 RM Pro Plus device, tried to use one to send to another, abit hard also.. but doable.
