My Google Play Services is zapping more battery than my FB, does any expert knows would any app(s) be affected if I prevent it from running in background?

Settings > Battery > App Launch > Manually manage the apps

Nope it doesn’t. I turned off all apps and my WhatsApp telegram etc notifications still comes in timely.

It will affect more on apps like mails.

hmm i tried when i off run in background it will not work for me

edit : ok it works if i do not use web whatsapp. But if i switch on web whatsapp, there will not be notification sound on my phone but counter still appears

It's happen to my mate 9 n one of the posting said have to leave it on. I try it n i never encounter delay msg anymore so for my mate 20, i just leave it on too.

Honestly don't bother n limit yourself to selected type c earphones. Just use convertor n open yourself to thousands of earphones..

I was like u last time, but give up trying to look for good type c earphones. Just use the convertor, now I can use all sort of earphones cheap or expensive.

just now ordered a xiaomi anc type-c and will share the performance once i received it.

for 3.5mm i have several earphones including bose quietcomfort ANC 20. i compared them with huawei stock earphone and found huawei sound resolution is clearly higher.

i havent looked into type-c usb audio specs but i guess phone will only send raw PCM audio data to earphone. in this case, the earphone is more like an USB sound card which has its own DAC and amplifier. therefore a well designed type-c earphone can easily outperform a 3.5mm earphone. since type-c earphone is an active device, ANC or even more advanced sound processing can be easily built-in.

at this moment choice of type-c earphone is limited. but i hope big brands can make type-c earphone product soon, especially bose. i used bose quietcomfort 20 many times in flight and it worked really well. but for daily usage it's kinda troublesome due to require charging.

To me, most important will be whatsapp, and no drop calls/drop sms.

i cancelled the order of xiaomi and changed to huawei ANC earphone CM-Q3. huawei phone shall use huawei earphone meh right? lol

As what we’ve learned, the condition of the green screen worsens over time.

So if you go down today but it’s not “serious” enough for a replacement but 5 days later, it worsens and has to be replaced. Isn’t that just a waste of time?
