Go to the membership counter outside casino to do on the spot. Sky Avenue lvl 2 got more counters.Suggest you do it once you get there. When you eat or shop there, you can earn points. If play at casino also can earn points. These can be used to get free rooms or meals next time.

Since you are staying at theme park hotel, can also go to the old casino near Genting Grand to do it. The membership counter is outside the casino.

Hi apologies if the question have been asked before, after reading through a few hundred pages, I'm starting to get a little bit giddy

Would the seniors be able to offer some guidance

1. Are junkets worth joining for free rooms/ride? I was offered a resort room stay and transfer to/fro hotel if I rolled 75kRM
2. Are they safe? which ones are good?
3. They claim to offer good fx rate exchange between sg and rm and back again. How would it be possible to change any winnings to sgd? (casino exchange is terrible?? not sure)
4. For any winnings (card games), can you get the casino to issue an SGD cheque?

Any advice via forum or PM would be greatly appreciated. thanks

1. Depends what you're looking to achieve from gambling. Junket gives you commission (rebates) dependent how much you roll while House (Genting) gives you Genting Point (GP). Gambling either via Junket or House will both give you Tier Point (TP) required to track and upgrade your status. Do note that if you roll via Junket, your Tier Point may take up to 2 weeks to reflect.

Rolling 75k within 2 days should have easily gotten you Maxims / Genting Grand. You must ask for it or they will just continue offering you rooms at Resort.

Generally, Rolling 100k will earn you Limo to Airport while 200k for Limo to your Doorstep in SG.


2. There are a couple of junket companies in Genting. Richland, QD are a few that I can recall right now. Just roll with licensed junkets (those with the white ID tag) and you should be alright.

3. I belive what you're referring to is the FX offered by Junket. They have SG Bank account that you transfer to and they give you in RM NN Chip. Depends on junket, my junket allowed me to change back from RM to SGD within 2 weeks. They usually offer rates a little better than House FX.

House FX is the rate offered by Genting. When you're Gold card and Above, you may utilise this service at any VIP cage. Minimum exchange is 3k RM equivalent to SGD. FX rate updates every Thursday. You got 1 week to redeem back your SGD.

If you are below Gold card, it is the same but you go to a Non VIP cage to do it, but you must redeem back on the same day by 2359hrs.

4. All winnings regardless Chips or Credits can be issued out via Cheque either in RM or SGD. You will loose out alot in FX as the SGD will be converted based on Genting's own FX rate but it will be in local bank cheque (faster clearance and no commission at bank end). I received before in DBS cheque.

Your half hill referring to awana skyway ? Yesterday when I took Solitare Suite, switch at foothill. I think they call it RSR Genting or something like that - 10 min away from the place where they stop for shopping.

Premium is 2 seat 1 seat lo. Kind of like WTS/707 that kind.

Solitaire is 1 seat 1 seat. Got food. Got hot drink. Got 点心 also.
Got movie to watch.
Chair more comfortable.
But Con is need to switch bus at the last 45mins

Superstarz is 2 seat by 1 seat. But got food n hot drink like solitaire. Also got movie system.

The ulu one must be Oversea Resturant. The one you will walk by if you take the power shortcut.

When you have worries, better don't gamble.

Suggest you open once you get there so that when you eat or shop you can earn points. Not sure about playing. Last time outdoor and indoor theme park got cheaper price for day pass for genting members. Not sure if they will do the same.

With the points you can also redeem free rooms. Or members get cheaper price for rooms when you book online at their website or app (or so they claim).

Unless you making just this 1 trip and don't intend to go again, it is good to have the card. Last time only get Genting points when gamble. Now get genting points when eat and shop also. So card is no longer just for gambling.

Edit : At Marrybrown, I passed the card thinking can earn points. No points but they gave 10% discount off the price.

Yeah. Not all shops and makan places at SkyAvenue or Genting issue GPs.

I know that Healing Hands massage got issue but Hilltop Grocer dun.

Does those attractions like Believe it or not and Dinosaur Land also issue pts? What about Snow World, Genting Bowl, and those video game park?
