Hi guys, just got my mate 20 yesterday. I noticed that when I charge the phone, it only display "charging" instead of "super charging" on the lock screen. Is it just mine or it's like this for everyone??

Can take a pic of the charger? The side that shows the wordings with specs

It's the pocket lint. Once cleaned up it's all good.

Hi, does it cover all corners? Not dot matrix type right? I installed one that had dot matrix. Under white background can see... Super distracting.

How is the oleophobic coating for the glass? Thinking of going down to do later.

Bought the Fluid Navigation Gestures pro add-on. Very cool right now. Highly recommended. Best mix of gestures + quick swap to previous app.

This seems like a nice app but I'm using J touch for a long time becos I've not found any app that works better.

It is just a floating button that can be customizes to do all that becos I feel full gestures are too much swiping for me.. I mean to do back have to move my finger to the edge of screen to swipe, that's just too much movement for me. I prefer just a small floating "ball" that can I move around and customize to do back, drop notification, switch to last app, recent apps and home. Very similar to the ball HW has but more customizable. Very little movement if you put it near your thumb area and swipe. I toggle hide navigation bar and hide navigation bar and mainly use the ball to do all gestures

My configuration is this if you are interested that give me the most convenience:

Swipe left - recent apps
Swipe right - temporary hide button for 3 sec
Swipe down - drop notification bar
Swipe up - switch to last app
Short press - back
Long press - home

To move ball, just press hold and move around and the ball move with you

I see. I tried the ball type of tools like the HW version, and even on iPhone's. I find it too obstructive, keeps blocking my content and I have to keep shifting it around.

Using this edge gestures I find much more intuitive since I'm just using my thumb to swipe. Very useful for when holding the phone on one hand.

Yes I feel you but with the temporary hide for 3s, you don't need to move it around anymore.

The battery can remain at 100% for 26hrs if you just leave the phone on standby. But the standby sucks thereafter.

Redwhite mobile hardware waterway point

Thanks for the info :)

Does any bros here have luck trying to buy the 11.11 starhub promo for mate 20 pro. It's been always out of stock

It's out of stock for quite a while, i bought mine that time during 10th Nov morning just nice they restock it and it's 11.11 sale, it also came with a free wireless charger redemption.

Mobile hardware one. But got black borders sian whats the point of having the black borders

Ohh. . i also hate the black borders!

You can consider this clear uv glue screen protector from GW. I got mine applied today and I have to say its really good though a bit expensive. No issues with fingerprint sensor nor casing pushing out the edges.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro UV glue glass for S$38 https://sg.carousell.com/p/199576042

I saw this uv glue screen protector video, it's very interesting and looks good.

The Tempered Glass or PC protector has arrived for the camera lens. Installed and it doesnt look like its there.... Pretty good

E8WD9pp.jpg

Bro can you try take some picture with the led light on? some of the camera TG protector people said when they on the led light has a slight blue hue tint to it when snapping pictures.

You mind sharing where you got it from and is it oleophobic coated? oleophobic is resistance to fingerprint and oil.

AI consumes a lot of power so it's not.

I'm also using J Touch too, been using it for several months.. good stuff. only thing is that it cannot launch other apps or shortcuts.
