Hi all, attach herewith are some photos of comparison side-by-side of telco display set (left) vs my phone (right).

Same device, same screen panel, same display setting, and under same lighting condition but color tints are different and mine has green screen discolouration.

Mine is Telco set and looks like the one on the right .. was thinking compared to my OnePlus the white balance of this phone seems terrible lol

Placed enough phones side-by-side and you will see 50 shades of white.

Ok this is how the exchange program works..

it seems that they randomnly call people to go to 313 service centre (walk in) for exchange. I had to say that I pushed them over Facebook. otherwise they will never followup on your request.

Over Facebook they provided me (Sunday evening)a case number and they called me Monday lunch time. what they said over the phone is that you need to bring the box, receipt and the phone and do backup first. they told me that the service centre @313 will decide whether they will do repair or one on one exchange.

So this late afternoon (3pm) I went to 313.. press the collection button for your number. Waited for about 30mins. When it was my turn I said I do the one to one exchange. then they asked whether they called me. they may have a list who they called i think..then she requested for the box (the charger etc you can keep) and do clean reset yourself. they did not ask for receipt or other stuff. they did not even check the phone on the issue. Then they will transfer the IMEI code to the new phone in which you need to wait for about 45mins. The warranty will be still the date of your purchase and not the day you went for exchange.

after 45mins i came back to pick up. they gave, as promised the powerbank. i also asked how about the terrible launch event (they promised to compensate?) and my screen protector that I applied on the phone. They said best to contact them (?) directly (forgot to ask who).

you will get a new phone and everything inside the box that means new adaptr, cable etc.

Any issues with your replacement set so far? Wonder if they will allow a second exchange if the replacement has issues...

Hi All.. I just bought my Mate 20 Pro 2 weeks ago.. Was comparing with Google Pixel 3 XL but decided this due to hardware specs..

I found that there's several bugs in the phone which i am not sure if it is my problem or you guys face it as well..

1: Apps that are not default with the phone will not be able to show it's notification on the Always On Display. For example, outlook, whatsapp.

2: Whatsapp notification came in, i didnt click.. 30s or 1-2 mins the same notification will ring again.. Normal?

3: Whatsapp when you click in from notification, sometimes it auto scrolls UP to few lines before.. Not sure why.. You have to manually scroll down to read latest message..

4: Fingerprint sensor not very responsive. Re-do twice but still got issue unlocking using finger.. Didnt have that issue with previous phones.. So quite sure is not thumbprint or dry skin or fingerprints issues..

5: Notification icons at the top bar.. Sometimes it shows but sometimes it doesnt. Example wife can whatsapp me now, i unlock and i can see the whatsapp icon at the top. Sometimes i got unread message but it doesnt appear at the top. (All notification setting at default)

Are all these huawei software bug and limitation? I am on latest software already.

Thanks in advance.
