Huh.. you kidding right? M20P is better than even note 9 in specs. Samsung make good hardware but really bad in the software department that's why HW will eventually overtake Samsung to be first in Mobile sale soon. The slow update, sluggish UI is what caused people to give up and try something else. I've used Samsung since the Galaxy S days until Note 8 where I finally gave up. I'll wait for Samsung One UI release, before giving them another try, if it's still the same sluggish, slow software updates, you can say goodbye to Samsung

Samsung Sg update is slow but the UI is better than EMUI imo, not sluggish.
S7e, S9+, N9 vs Mate8, P10+, P20+ , prefer Samsung UI, and also prefer Samsung standbye drain. If our local 9 series Samsung use Snapdragon, will be even better. :vijayadmin:

M20pro OLED screen much less efficient, that its 4200mah battery is big but needed.

You need to worknon the meaning of sluggish...

I think videos are worth more than a thousand words without buying a few phones and do tests ourselves so just go check out some speed tests

Yes, M20P OLED may not efficient but it's enough to beat N9 in battery tests

Do note HW constantly update the software so the battery life will improve after a few more updates.

nah i still feel Huawei UI and software still cant fight samsung

Yes, Sammy UI may feels more polished, eg AOD works better but I can't stand the sluggishness of TouchWiz. After so many phones, they may have improved in speed but it still lags frequently even after I removed all the useless stuff.. the only way out is to trip Knox and go custom ROM which sort of defeat the purpose of using Samsung phones imo

Has anyone got theirs replaced yet? I read from their FB, someone posted their exchange experience; seems like the launch day queue all over again. :s22:

Exchanged my phone today, went home and saw that it's still LG panel so I did a test .. same greenish tint. Those without the screen bleed problems, can take a photo of your phone on Netflix download page at the lowest brightness in dark environment? Thanks.

Mine is exactly like your exchanged phone. You can't really see the green bleed until you go into a dark room with the Netflix download screen at low brightness.

Otherwise it looks fine.

I think I will say goodbye to my mate 20 Pro. Xian. Charge premium price and then like this. Disappointing.

My Google Pixel 3XL with the same Netflix download screen is perfect.

Damn thats bad, replacing a phone with the same LG batch that has issues. They should just wait for BOE stock to come in and replace with that, no point wasting ours and their time replacing with shitty LG screen again, they said the delay in replacement was to QC the replacement batch.... ya right.

Still waiting for the phone call to schedule replacement, messaged them yesterday and they just asked me to be patient lol.

Maybe we should test the replacement phone on the spot when we collect them. If still faulty, demand a replacement until its a good one or a full refund. This shouldn't be the flagship experience one should go through :s11:

no idea lol but i will try to test it before i leave 313 at least. I am sure there is a table or something, just lower the brightness and see under the table.

Hope it can be seen like that.

Mine is fine under these circumstances you can't detect it but in a dark room with a black background it is very obvious.

That's why I thought all was well until I tested it in a dark room.

If can be seen under a table, then considered bad already.

I just exchanged mine today. The set I got is BOE one, no more green tint. Also received a 10k mAh 22.5W powerbank as well. One thing that im not happy about the exchange experience is that when they arranged with me via phone, told me got express queue for m20p exchange, but when u are there they ask u to take queue same as normal servicing. After u send in the phone, need to wait 30 mins or so then can collect.
