Guys, anyone book an express train from Taipei to Hualien b4? Let’s say I want to take 1200 train, I need your help to explain what the “due time” means for the train booking page? Can I just put any time later than 1200?

im planning on a trip to taichung.
which my flight lands on taoyuan at 1150am. straight to taichung stays for a night next day proceed to cingjing or straight to cingjing better?

1) stay at taichung for a night, next morning proceed to SML and cingjing and back to taichung

or

2) stay at taichung for a night, next morning proceed to SML and stay at cingjing for a night?

3) any other option?

Will it be too rush?

if i will to go from taoyuan to taichung, take HSR will be better right?

thanks for the inputs!

Bro, depends on what you want to do in CJ and who are you with.

My own experience is that to stay in CJ is 可有可无。

If from TY to TC, HSR is the preferred mode.

I enjoyed the view there. But other than that, the farm didn't suit me (as in because we were in a elderly grp).

The rest, normal ba.

BEst to stay a night there.
But to do sun moon lake then cingjing, i advise you to sleep over there at night.
Morning go catch sunrise, then roam ard.
Take the last bus back to taichung.
This will be the best combination.

There are many attractions if you do your research.
If you DIY, SML and Cingjing in a day, you wont be seeing much.
At least, you stay a night in cingjing, next morning start early, late afternoon go to SML to stay a night. Then start SML attractions for half a day, back to Taichung.

Both SML and cingjing evening got nothing to do.

Ask Calkel to book for you, save all the trouble.

Go tw buy things then change, 1k ntd is not very big note. At airport, buy easy card or top up, use yr 1k bill and request to change another 1k bill.

NT1000 is like $50 notes. It is accepted everywhere, including night markets.

I read it as destination/arrival to these stations. So promo covers TP->TC, TC->TN, etc... but seems can't go back to TP using the promo.

Strange lor.
Only zuoying to taichung to zuoying.
Also need to submit quite a bit of details.

The Chinese version confirmed what I read in English.

Also, promotion is good for one-time discount for each passport (pax). Not sure if buying more than 1 trip in each purchase what the discount may be.

"每一護照號碼僅限一次搭乘優惠"
