Lol I was at the Huawei centre last week. One guy got another phone to replace screen cracked badly can't see much. Then the staff keep asking him ensure he do a backup. Then he ask my screen like that how to back up? Damn funny.

Bro, end up I didn't register new fingerprints. In cold conditions I just rub my fingers together to generate some heat. And then I tap my fingerprint and wallah! It works!

How to go about doing that? If you try to register the same finger even in cold conditions phone will say fingerprint already registered.

had the same issue with Mate 9 and then now Mate 20, but it didn't bother my mum so I left it as that. the mate 20 is a Sharp lcd panel.

Not sure if it’s related, but my Mate 10 LCD also slight yellow at the nav bar since day 1, slight only though so never really bothered.

hi guys, planning to get my screen protector from red white mobile tmr. anyone can send a pic of what the tempered glass looks like on mate 20 pro? any problems with fingerprint or face unlock? thank you

IMPORTANT PSA! FOR THOSE BUYING FROM RedWhite Mobile Screen Protector:
I just checked with them yesterday, they CHANGED the screen protector they are using now. It's now a china brand one, and it's much smaller, so it doesnt cover a lot of ur curved side class as well as top and bottom. When u have the screen protector on, because it is not curved fully, ur screen at the side extends past the screen protector and the screen protector looks like it is sticking out. This basically means it looks super ugly and the whole side screen cannot use. Might as well buy another phone with large side bezels. If ure thinking about buying it, just beware of this change, and help let them know to change back to the old type.

Also the screen isnt smooth now, if u look at reflections of a straight object, u can see it has curves and distortions. And they dont allow refunds, they only offer "exchanges" or paste new for you but dont want to refund you, so once you pay ure fked.

anyone noticed a slight yellowish tint on their Mate 20 LCD bottom edge?

Might just be backlight bleed, happens on a lot of LCD screens, maybe ask to exchange it also

The older version is bigger and not able to accommodate most cases.

I think the current tempered glass is still not perfect. Probably can try out those film type first. At least can protect from minor scratches.

Mine non telco set. Didn't notice any diffent. It just state that the update optimised the face unlock. It's 512 Mb in size
