From what I read the young lady who died was thrown out from the bus. She must be sitting on the first front row and did not buckle up with her seat belt. What seat belt and policy do the company have on the seat belt.

Can't blame the company if individuals don't use seat belt. I buckle up all the time but notice a lot of people don't. Same for airplane. The moment the seat belt signal is off, you instantly hear the sound of unbuckling all around you.

I usually avoid first row and near the stairs. But my kids like to sit first row, including on double decker public bus in SG. Faint.

Yes. Of cos, probably the latest blockbuster movie. eg. this week Mortal Engine. Next week probably Aquaman.

And not many Chinese film in iMax now (maybe in future). Probably even less available in D-BOX. Even Spore has only 1 small tiny D-Box cinema.

Just very unlucky. The lady unbuckle her seat belt to attend to her child and this thing happen out of the blues.

While Ms Serina was standing and preparing milk for her son, Mr Yusry noticed a stationary lorry in the distance and in the same lane that the bus was travelling on.

Other cars ahead of them began signalling and changing lanes to avoid the lorry but Mr Yusry said their bus continued travelling straight towards the lorry.


....so looks like driver's fault.

Not just no seat belt. She was standing during impact.

No cars are highly manuvable. Buses especially double decker not so. I understand the stationary lorry driver has been charged with some offences.
