Don't think that's the case. Only in the case that the battery totally fail and will not turn on because of battery or let say the battery can only keep very very little juice and turn off after extremely short period. Otherwise if let say the battery capacity is 80% of original battery life, it's more like normal wear and tear. Don't think any manufacturer will honour that. Can try la but IMO won't succeed

You can read in mate 9 thread. There are some who went after 1 year and managed to get the battery changed.

Yes. They stated 4000mah in their spec but if you use battery apps, you can see that the actual capacity is much higher.

I cant wait to find out whether emui 9 will make the m10 snappier than it was on emui 8.

I currently owned a m20x, and noticed that the phone is able to achieve 100% after every optimisation using the phone manager.

my m20x is loaded with 90% of the apps as compared to my m10.

Can't wait for the EMUI 9 update coming tomorrow, and can start using my mate 10 tomorrow

My sister using Mate 20 now and EMUI 9 really seems faster than EMUI 8, been refreshing for a while for today but update not yet available.

been waiting for emui 9 also for the gestures. been using fluid NG as recommended by bros here. really good but since its not built in, there's like so many error that require me to off and on it again.

Hopefully emui 9 gestures is better!

For me is the new camera UI that attracts me to EMUI 9, prefer it than the current EMUI 8 camera UI as the new one offers a mode to turn off Master AI too.

Yeah, it was what I was waiting for, in fact China users got it from 8.1 already, which was skipped for global release, but at least 9.0 is coming now.

So can ask for replacement if battery is weak? Say u bought the phone that stated with 4000 mah .. how come u all put 4700 mah batetry insai??

EMUI 9 is Pie.

Camera UI is improved, with the ability to on/off Master AI for Mate 10 series. More scenes they can recognize for AI also.

Updated.... Bo Dark Mode leh..... thought Android P has it built in?
Checked around menus and the web... no dark thingy anywhere
Can feel the speed improvement...
Nothing major...only thing i've noticed visually is signal and wifi icons moved to the left
