i see many sellers on carousell selling for low $400 and claimed those are Malaysian sets thus lower price.
Will warranty be an issue for that? Reliable? Cant believe we are paying almost $100 more in SG

Managed to score one for less than 350SGD after Lazada flash deal with discount coupon and rebates just now.it's overseas set but the price is too good to forgo the 1 year warranty risk.

if the item spoilt less than 1 week , $500 dollar will still worth the dollar.
i will not go for overseas set even with their warranty, is too much troublesome for replacement.

Agree

Pay hundred more for a piece of mind for a year

When warranty going end, go back service centre say battery spoil and exchange for a new set.

Bought a pair yesterday though I wasn't 100% sure I would be satisfied with the headphones. After trying them out for a day, don't think they're suitable for me.

The ANC function gives me a headache after a few hours of use. Also while taking the bus, there's this weird "windy" noise in the left cup with ANC on - the bus was too bumpy and every jerk interferes with the connection. When I let in ambient sound the "windy" noise was gone, but this obviously defeats the purpose of getting the headphones for the ANC.

Ears do get hot after a while but I only noticed that after taking the headphones off. The sound is really not that great either. Going to sell them off soon.

My trouble is the headphone being visibly painful on the top of my head even with the padding after around 2 hours.

I sold off mine QC35II after less than a week cause I don’t think headphone is suitable for me due to the heat on the ear after sometime and also the QC35 doesn’t seem to be good on the music part. In the end , I bought the 1more triple Earphone which sound much better to me than Bose.

I bought it at $525 after discount.
Noise cancelling ability is really good.
It's also very lightweight.
But wearing outdoors will definitely sweat.
Best used in air-con or cool place.
Audio quality is good, maybe 4 out of 5 stars good.

Trying to decide whether to get black or silver :o

dont get the "silver" ( it's just champagne / beige lah ), i got it , and the finger print stains / black marks on the earcups cant be removed no matter what i use to clean....and i already take quite good care of it.......didnt even take such good care of my laptop and other stuffs!

cant be returned to sony....just gonna make do with it. should have got the black!

Is the headphone suitable for music with strong bass or those in mid-range or higher frequencies?

Thanks

Strong in bass, but treble clarity is acceptable.

Just tested at the STEREO shop with Huawei Mate 20X. Initially it connects using LDAC then for some reason it connects using SBC. After that can select but cannot revert to LDAC.

I guess the reason lies here

https://www.soundguys.com/ldac-ultimate-bluetooth-guide-20026/

Sound-wise it's rather flat as compared to the B&O H9i. The SONY ANC, its comfort and controls are much better than the H9i though
