Xiaomi Mi Max 3 - Come in!

Anyone notice that QuickCharge is not working on those Max3?

I'm on latest stable China ROM. The QC logo does appear when I plugged it in. But, after a while, it will disappear.

Anyone encountering the same?

do you have mi cloud find my phone enabled? idk if it’s the settings or what cuz my google can see my older mi max but not this phone.

Nope.. disabled find my phone on my mi account

u wan to see yr Mum location isit ?just use Google map share location better and fast ..
I'm using it on my parents phone ..can track them anytime and fast ..

Noted, thanks. Will try this. Was using the original cable that comes with the phone.

Tried using a flat cable that I bought from Batam. QC charging fast all the way. Didn't expect the cable that Xiaomi have to deteriorate so fast.

hi kottty. thanks for your reply. the thing is, she dunno where she put her phone le and i’m trying to use google find my device to find it but it kept showing the prev max’s location she used before.

may i ask you, did you have more than 1 device linked to your google account? am i supposed to remove the prev device in the account? i still have the prev device though. i dunno what i’m doing wrong here but i can’t find her device. that phone has google account signed in. last time her phone with her we also cannot track her location using google when she ask us to pick her up.

her phone has internet connection and gps on. she can use google map on her phone which she uses all the time. her new phone is signed in to the same google account as her prev phone but we cannot track it, only the old phone shows up under find my device. we ever try with the phone in front of us and using find my device and it doesn’t show up. looks like i no need to remove device but rather some settings i did not set.

when we find her phone (it’s somewhere in the house or at my aunty’s where she frequents) i will use the method you are using now. sounds like a much better option than this find my device. thanks for your help kottty

Check every 3 days. Xiaomi might give you CNY discount.... Shorten the binding period to half.

After we unlock and flash the global rom, do we lock the bootloader back? As u mentioned some apps do not work with an unlocked bootloader
