Called into M1 customer service, the esim charge can't be waived off even if I am using the Citibank M1 card to pay my monthly bills. Any advice on what I can do?

I don't doubt Singtel and even SH will not offer esim option, question is how soon. If M1 gets overwhelming subscribers adopting it even at a fee/charges, it'll definitely be a motivation for them to implement it fast.

I don’t think e sim is a game changer for telcos as those who needs dual sim desperately would have either bought an android or hk version of iPhone.
However it is irritating that Singtel and Starhub continue to remain silent more than 1 month after M1 has made it available

Just keep trying. Have tried multiple calls to M1 cs and even M1 shop been getting varying results. Ranging from $5, $37.45 and even $42.45, it depends on your luck who is handling your enquiry. Unless if they've already standardize to a single answer by now since it's been more than a month after esim had launched.

I managed to get it waived off and they cited as goodwill.

there is a toggle for it, be warn ah if u going overseas it will do it as well.

Just called m1, can’t be waived. So wait till it become popular and it will auto be waived

I may be wrong but I remember that I read somewhere that the local telco you’re roaming on needs to support eSIM for roaming to work.

M1 side told me that it will work like a normal Sim irregardless of the local telco in other country. . Anyone can double confirm ?

That's good news!! Waiting for Singtel to offer esim option.
