Why unable? I can connect to such WiFi with no issues at all. If your browser for some reason can't be auto launched, then you manually launch it yourself. Browse to some website like hwz or something and the WiFi which you are trying to connect will redirect you to their login page.

Have you updated to Pie?

If yes, check if you have enabled private DNS feature. If yes, disable it to connect to those free wifi

Just updated to PIE recently. I will try to disable it. Hopefully it will be able to open their bowser. Will update here Again. Thanks guys.

Could anyone help me pls, after the update my phone keeps killing my data once my phone screen is off. Like few second after the screen off my radio will be cut off. I have checked and make sure I tick the keep wifi and data connected when phone sleep. And also reset my network connection... Nothing helps. Has anyone else have such issue? How was it resolved?

Confirm is due to this. I recently traveled and couldn't connect too. You try with singtel wifi at Mac / mrt. Same problem. Cos their login page is a custom page hosted on the router.

Thus requires the router's DNS to be used so that your phone can find the page using the name.

Thanks, I tried that. It doesn't solve the issue. I reset all setting then issue resolved. Now restoring all my settings.

I feel that after the update, like the button not responsive as before and a slight lag. My battery life also suffer due to the patchy network. After I did the 'reset all setting' every works fine now. It's abit troublesome to have to redo all my setting again.

while everyone here seems to be commenting that the battery life got worse...i felt like my battery can last longer now given same usage habit

i realised that the kill all apps is buggy. apps are still running in the background

I would do a factory reset and reinstall all app. Before doing, backup all important data.

The funny thing is that I had already done a full reset. But I am still getting this issue.

Same here. works smooth with no issue. loving it so far.

imo its better than fluidNG.. i tried fluidNG and there's so many bugs and error. even hiding the bottom bar will pop up and whole thing stuck..need to re-enable using the app agn.

i think after the update can see the battery drain fast. but after few day usage it somehow get optimized and get better. so far can see most ppl commenting bad at first, getting better after few days used

You using 3rd party launcher or Huawei launcher? It's not doing well with 3rd party ones.

Oh.. I am using Nova Launcher Prime.. Let me try the stock Huawei launcher.
