Any advise to strengthen the battery life?

Switch off nfc, wifi, bluetooth, location, dim your screen brightness or go to battery and activate ultra power saving.

I think the best is to get a portable charger or battery case.

How is your battery usage?
Minr able to last for a day but of course without gaming.

nfc, Bluetooth, both are off. wifi and location is on always. am always on power saving. getting a portable for mate 20 pro is indeed defeating the purpose of getting this phone as its known for its outstanding battery life ya?

I use it quite regularly for voice calls , WhatsApp, emails, and chrome. could start the day at 8am at 100% and gets 10% at 11pm

What about without powersaving?

Mine left 30+ after 12hrs without power saving but of course i hardly touch on my phone when im working.

i think your battery is not bad.
90% for 15hr.
You can charge for half an hour~1 hour to last you till extra 5 hours.

Use power saving mode, manually go into each and every application and disable "run in background" other than social media apps. Usually end my day with 50/60% even with Bluetooth constantly on for my smartwatch and dual sim.

I don't think it's possible (yet). Even for wa if u allow pop up they dissappear after a few seconds. U will have to unlock screen.

Trial and error found a way...go settings , security and privacy , face recognition , smart lock screen notifications...turn off...then can see notifications even b4 unlock phone🤘🏻

Im intending to get the Otterbox Clear Symmetry for the Mate 20Pro. anyone has review?
- does the side turn yellow?
- is it really scratch resistance?
- is it a fingerprint magnet?

Saw some bad reviews for the same case for Iphone xs not sure whether its the same as for Huawei

Just bought 2 days ago...but based on same case from previous phones...
Yellowish still ok...
Micro scratch easily (OCD me)
Finger print magnet not that much, easy to clean

But worth it to showcase my twilight 🥰

Is it worth upgrading to mate 20 (non pro) from mate 10 pro if my main concern is the camera? How about from a processor pt of view?

Any of the Mate 20 series is miles better than the Mate 10 Pro given my experience with the Mate 10 since Mate 10 and Pro has the same sensor(IMX386). The current camera sensor on the Mate 20 is 1/2.3" compared to the 1/2.9" so it's already way better. As for SoC, 980 is in a different league when compared to the 970.
