If you know how to run your own VPN server at home, set one up with port 53. If you connect to wireless@sg or any other public WiFI with VPN on port 53, you get to skip the captive portal login

How do you run your VPN on port 53? My Asus router does not accept running openVPN on port 53.

Do you know what WiFi card the Chromebook used?
Some older WiFi card without a updated driver will not work with wireless@sgx.
Similar to some handphone with MTK processor.
