NIE admission anyone? - Part 2

Don’t be disheartened. I’ve gone interviews 2 times before and the result turn out negative too.

This was my 3rd attempt. I don’t even know if I’ll succeed this time.

I wish u all the best..hope it turns out positive this time. May I ask what was the time length between all the interviews u had attended? As in did u have to wait till certain no of months before they called u up again? Plus, did they ask u any questions regarding ur prev interviews? As in, did they acknowledge that this wasn’t ur first attempt? Sorry for this many qns..just curious..

I wonder wad went so wrong in my interview that Im not even getting a second chance..

Thank you. I went interviews in 2016, 2018 and then this year. Skipped a year because I gave birth in 2017. Haha. I was so persistent in applying that I applied every 6 months but they won’t call you up one, so 6 months cool off period do applies.

During my last 2 interviews they didn’t mention anything about my previous interview. They probably know, but I don’t think they will say anything about it.

Graduate. I had attended the interview once back in 2017 but it didn’t turn out positive. I’ve been reapplying again and again but haven’t gotten another chance yet. Pretty depressing

From SUSS..I was previously an AED(LBS). Had to resign after 5 years for childcare reasons. Meanwhile, I was trying to finish up my degree. Have been applying since then.

I actually went for the AED(LBS) interview last year to get back into service and it’s still in process till now. So, I basically dunno what MOE has in plan for me.

Hi, my interview was on 13 Mar for Pri Eng&Math. The MOE website says we will be informed of the outcome about 4 to 5 weeks after the interview. If no rejection, earliest we will know might be in April? Will update here if I get anything

omg the waiting game suck big time You applying with A-level or Dip? The email states we should hear from 4-6 weeks and this is alr the 5th week if im not wrong

That’s for AED(T&L)’s. They’re trying to convert them to AED(LBS) or mainstream Teachers. They still have demand for AED(LBS) from what I know..

To add on to the previous point mentioned about AEDs, it is true that recruitment for AED tnl has ceased. In fact, the AED tnls like myself are being made to attend job fairs after job fairs. So I am hoping to get teaching. =D

Went for interview 4th Oct 2018 , medical 27th Jan 2019.


Still waiting for final outcome. I wish they could just give us a timeline so we could plan properly. At this stage, I’m even prepared for a rejection so I can at least move on.

Maybe it’s a tactic to avoid ppl from applying within 6 months.
