The bootloader is not unlocked, you will have to do it yourself. The tricky part will be determining the seller is providing actual global ROM or China ROM flashed with Google play services.

At first i hv the same thinking as you to get the Redmi Note 7 export set. But worry is not global rom and having the gps issues and ownself might not able to solve the problems. So i just settle with a pocophone with a more peaceful mind since Note 7 pro wun be coming with global rom.

Maybe only certain batches. What happens is that it initially captures your location, but it doesn't move along with you as you move about. You had to turn off and on the GPS to update your location.
