Your typical Guardian/Watson will have it. You won't get 100% pure (unless you got lobang in pharmaceutical industry), normally they have 80% concentration, but that's good enough. Just make sure your board is thoroughly dried before powering on.

lazada has 70% alcohol wipes $2 each. i bought 6 packs of 100 pieces so far

can this one be use to clean off used thermal paste on cpu ?
Yup, I used alcohol wipes (those small square type) to clean off old thermal paste off the CPU and cooler previously, no issues at all. Try not to use them on non-flat surfaces as the fibers will get caught in the pins and edges.

Agreed. It's my daily must-carry. Useful for cleaning permanent marks, toilet bowls, fingerprint stains etc.

anybody know where to buy rubbing alcohol for cleaning PCBs?

Sim Lim level 3 one shop selling. Blue bottle, think is either 750ml or 500ml type. Around $15. Else get from TaoBao, ship by sea.

Sim Lim one the bottle looks like the one on right.
If you don't need a lot. I have some spare already transfer to small plastic bottle.
