How to successfully learn SingTel TV remote (with DVR)? Although, I downloaded it from the User Library, there are some buttons not yet learnt. No matter how I tried, it does register but can't really work. Anyone knows?

Hi Guys,
I read about wall switch without Neutral line, and there are some disavdantages about them, wanted to ask anyone here have use the TC2 switches and observed such behaviour.

1. The ceiling light will go flickering, and potential burning the switch.
2. The switch will "steal" power and may result in higher electrical bill.

Hello my broadlink is working ok i can command it to turn on off my aircon, change temperature, turn off led light of the aircon, turn on/off the electric fan and swing the electric fan.

But for some reason it stop working today. Any idea guys? I didnt do anything.

I set up using ihc on my iphone. It was working ok for a month or so only today it stops working.

I check my google home mini when i command it to turn on my vacuum cleaner which is xiaomi app it is still working so i know the issue is reallh with my broadcom.

I restarted it already unplug/replug but it still not working. Please advise masters.

Dunno why my led downlight blink once and didnt light up with my touch wall switch. Anybody encounter such issue and should i install capacitor that comes with the light switch?

I am having similar problem with one of my switch. I have tried to connect the light to other Tc2 switches and have the same problem (so is not a problem with the tc2 switch). Can someone advise how this can be resolved?

Open your Google Home app, under Home Automation, log out of your Broadlink Smarthome account, close the app, and log back in again.

Have you tried troubleshooting with the e control app?

Smart switches (with or without Neutral) require a standby power (~1W) to operate. 15 switches would be <$2/month.

Thanks for your advise. I am still unable to decide if I should go full house with Broadlink switch or WIFI switch for my new BTO. Guess have to weight the cost, safety and stability.

Hmmm, I installed the capacitor at my LED lights, the driver there, not at the switch, so I can’t advise.

There is not much difference actually. In fact, using RF is more power efficient than WiFi. As for safety, so far I have yet to see any of the popular smart devices (broadlink, tuya, xiaomi) having safety mark by SPRING. Perhaps Samsung smart home devices might be.. But they tend to be pricey

Suggest u try typing out the command in your Google assistant to see if it is the speech recognition issue when switching off the fan?

I meant the specific command for your fan. For me, perhaps it is my pronunciation ... GH always interpret my voice command of "turn on starmex" as "turn on stomach"...

I know what you mean, I did tried type the command in Google assistant but my fan still cannot turn off

Update : I was trying to read this thread from the start and learnt some tricks from some expert here. Instead of select fan, I select lamp with on,off,red(speed low),green(speed medium),blue(speed high), now I can on off the ceiling fan plus can change the speed too, must thank the bros here who share this tricks, thanks again

Try to identify the root of the problem- see if it’s IHC, e-control or GH that is the issue. If logging out and in doesn’t help, I will log out and then delete the app and download it again and log in.

Troubleshooting is all about trial and error, that’s the only advice I can give you at this point in time.

But i have 3 rooms then do i required to purchase 3 x e-Remote Broadlink RM-Pro to control the air con?

if is one but how it transmit signal if i put this e-Remote Broadlink RM-Pro in only one room? thanks

Broadlink control the aircorn using the IR. If your Aircorn is located in different Room, u need multiple as IR cannot penatrate the wall. hope helps
