Anyone knows where to find a map of Genting Highlands? Tried searching online but doesn't seem like one.
Also want to know how isolated is Resorts Hotel from the rest of the amenities? Wife don't want to stay at First World.

indeed resort hotel is quite isolated now because entrance to montecarlo is closed. so going to the old casino for old time sake, walk abit is still worth it. but you can still enjoy oltown coffee at basement direct from resort hotel lobby lift or coffeebean.
like i'd said nostalgia.
of course if you dont feel like walking to sky casino or sky avenue, you can always hop on a cab outside coffee bean only RM10 to go there. easy.
otherwise, its pretty nice to walk in the cold slowly but surely through the alleys to go pass tangs shopping mcdonalds or kfc and some other food outlets and retail - not much to see though because the highlights are all at sky avenue. then via escalators you can go to pass grand hotel, bakery and further down maxims. and thats where either thru grandhotel or maxims both will lead you to the old casinos.
since your wife wishes to stay at resort hotel just walk her thru and recall your past experience with her - its all a sweet memory in a cool atmosphere. its really nice.
i usually will have a cuppa at the old bakery beside grand hotel. there whilst sipping kopi in the morn you can glance thru the glass panel looking at the thermometer.
now i heard its 17 degree. imagine..
i need not explain about sky avenue and sky casino.
if its your first time, you will blown away.
