Generally good, very durable and prevents child from slamming. Mine's installed on all cabinets when we got the kitchen renovations done.

But if you are on a budget, you can check out excel hardware. they've got soft closing hinges too.

Usually people in SG will compare these 2 brands for hinges.

Another way to save some money and achieve your goal is to use IKEA drawers and ask your carpenter to fix it in. Need not go for blum.

The carpenter install IKEA pull out cabinet and drawers, FOC

I am in the midst of getting those blum hinges for full alum kitchen cabinet, will share my opinion soon.

Looks functional and good at the blum showroom.

Installed at my current 4 room bto for 9 years. Only a handful of them (5 or so) were spoilt during this period. The drawer runners are still in perfect running condition.

The hinges are not expensive but the runners are.

How's the wood material for IKEA?

Blum claims they used some sturdy stuff, and then laminate on both inside and outside.

If not wrong should be high density fiver board.. which mean is saw dust and wood shred bond together by glue.. not very good with water..

I'm keen to know if the alternatives to UrbanKitchen are good quality.

Such as IKEA, etc.
