Mobo dead?

My pc's screen suddenly hanged and all keys/reset button would not respond. Had to switch off the power point. Unable to boot up after this. PSU passed the paper clip test so I'm very inclined to guess it is the mobo that's dead. Also tried to boot after unplugging all peripherals, but doesn't work.

Is there a better way to verify?

Motherboard could be dead. If you don't have spare mobo to switch over to test then there is really not much you can do. Can try reseating ram as well. If motherboard under warranty send it to service center for rma and check.

When you press power on switch, did you get fan start turning at power supply, casing etc? (and power on light)?

If this in Intel CPU, it hardly get trouble. probably motherboard, first thing to check is if any capacitors issue. Other then that, likely is need to replace mother board. Hopefully it is still under warranty.

Some close up picture may helps.

if after hang and unable to boot up
and u using onboard gpu

the last thing you could try is to resit the ram
if resitting a few times don't provide any positive result
u have to check the mb
