RRP for Mi 9SE 128GB is S$499 so for Mi 9T 128GB it should be lower that, judging from the price in China, Malaysia and European countries. I think all the local set sellers are currently selling too high.

Might be a case of local sellers cashing in by selling at marked up prices to eager early adopters before xiaomi sg starts officially selling. I would be hardly surprised if xiaomi sg's rrp for the mi 9t is actually at the low $400.

Can't really compare with china pricing as that is meant for china market and is on china rom. Comparing to Malaysia pricing still possible.

I am not comparing directly with china pricing. I am comparing the difference of the 128gb Mi9SE and Mi9T(K20) in each country and concluded that price should be much cheaper than ~S$520, which most local sellers are selling. $520 is very close to the Pro variant pricing which doesn't make sense.

Don't have to overthink too much. If reputable shops like mobile square and red white mobile are selling it and claiming that it's local set, it means it is local set with local warranty.

They have a positive reputation to maintain and won't shoot themselves in their own foot just for 1 particular mobile phone model.

Wait for price drop then, early adopters will always have to pay more. Local set is usually priced higher than Malaysia set due to supply and demand. Our market is smaller than our neighbors, period.

Lowest priced after discount seems to be eConcepts Pte Ltd via Lazada (local set - 6/128 @ $489.90 after $10 shop voucher). You can get another $20 off if you pay via standard charted cc every sat, making it $469.90 and that's just sgd$3 more than Malaysia official retail price ($1,399rm).

Nah not overthinking. Just wanna verify lol. Did they launch mi9se before official announcement previously also ah?
If not, then maybe they have changed their strategy by supplying retailers with stocks first before the official product launch.

Yes IIRC it was the same case for 9 SE. I have my Mi 9T already. Verified the IMEI number as a global international version.

It's actually cheaper to get from qoo10 with $50 coupon (VIP) and Amex.

Just use the case that comes with the phone in the box. It feels really good.
