Format Data and reboot into Recover.

Trying to backup but it said "Failed to mount '/vendor' (Structure needs cleaning).

Backup failed.

Not sure how to proceed now since I don't have any backup file.

Try this version of twrp that supports flashing encrypted partitions without the need of wiping /formatting

This is the TWRP i am using.

since u wan use havoc os just follow the step at the forum..use the twrp that he recommend which u need to format data first den reboot to recovery .use thumbdrive and plug in OTG and flash the file

In case, something goes wrong with the installation. Already encounter problems during the first time, at least I can still go boot back to the original MIUI system with the backup.

i dun think u still can boot back to MIUI after u format data..

Hi, does anyone have any issue with Gmail, Facebook and Reddit etc?
I used to be able to use them at the beginning but now they just force closed.
Redownloading doesnt help.

That's why need backup. The first time that i tried ... i also formatted DATA but I restored back my backup after i can't find the Havoc OS zip on the device.

Last evening, I managed to unlock, install twrp and Havoc rom. 2 weeks ago, my Mipad 4 arrived and my original China Rom don't work for the GPS outside of the box. It may be great in China, however, it may not be suitable outside of main land.

With a little bit of research, I finally change the rom. And the Havoc rom is great. GPS working and the best thing, you can used it for mobile calling, watsapp, pokemon go and etc.

I got stuck on the installation on the twrp but I used part 2 of the Kommando to install the twrp. I download the whole pack here but I used part 2 only: https://goo.gl/jcJFZ2

Anyway I reflash back to stock ROM. Redo the whole process. Use the latest LR Team TWRP and make sure I save the custom ROM on both SDcard and the MiPad 4.

Everything is working well now.

After installing Havoc and Gapps: Arm64 - Andriod 9 - mini, I discover google photo not working. any solution? I try installing nano, but there is no keyboard for me to type in my wifi password.

i used nano ,no issue with Google photo and keyboard issue..even pico also got keyboard pop out..anyway havoc 2.7 just out yest..u can try flash again

Thanks. I upgraded my Twrp. The one I am using is an older version. Then do a wipe on the mipad. Install Havoc 2.7 and use nano version. Everything is working.
