Both would be identical to the eye. See if u can pick it.
The 0.77 F has JPs preferred spec n likely just miss SIC
The 0.75 E has more character but more uneven girdle

Alright. Shall check out the actual diamond soon. Thanks for all the advices Miltah!

Any comments on the following two HOH Ideal diamonds? To me, they both have their pros and flaws in terms of light return from their aset scope. I have yet to see the physical diamond thou. May i ask experts here which is of a better deal?

0.75 E VS1 $6150

0.77 F VS1 $5950

I can see these scopes are much better than the previous ones you posted. The price is better too.

I'm trying to see the flaws in them but cant seem to find it. Can enlighten me?
Both the diamonds HCA below 1.4.

0.75 E VS1 - Why is this not a Super Ideal?

The light return is good, arrows are straight

Hearts are symmetrical

0.77 F VS1 - This one is because of the hearts are not symmetrical right?

Light return is good, arrows are straight too

Hearts are not evenly sized

Hi all,

Seeking help from the gurus here (esp Miltah!) on evaluation of two stones again, about which of the two stones represent better value. I'm inclined to pick either one of the two here.

0.44 G VS1 for 2.1k

0.45 E VS1 for 2.3k

Based on my very preliminary understanding of diamond stones evaluation learnt from this thread, the scope images for the 0.44 one seems better to me than the 0.45 one, while the 0.44 one seems to be cut slightly on a shallow end?

I kind of lean toward the 0.44 for now... but would appreciate if gurus here can offer your thoughts. Thx

Both have some uneven girdle but the 0.45 also have symmetry issues with 9 o’clock heart.
My pick is also the 0.44 but I dun the stones specs to know how shallow u mean. But the aset looks good.

On the diamond market, there’s been a drop in prices particularly for high colors.
So here u have the 0.45 E which is 2 color grades higher for only $200 more.

So which is better?
The 0.44 looks better on cut while the 0.45 is value on its high color for not much more. Your call...

The 0.75 is not SIC is probably also due to a white spot is missing ard the 5 o'clock position making it not uniform to others.

The 0.77 have minor misaligned arrows as well if you were to look closely. Hearts wise i cant tell the uneven thou.

Based on the overall im more inclined to choosing the 0.77 as the specs seems a bit bit better. However the cheaper price makes me wonder whats the issue with it as compare to the 0.75.

May i ask what is the implications with uneven girdle?

The 0.77 has clefts in the 10-11 o’clock heart.
The uneven girdle at the level of the past few scopes has minimal if not no naked eye impact

Went to look at the HOH Ideal diamonds today. Physically both comparing with SIC is not much of a different. It doesnt falls into the SIC is due to thise issue experts mentioned.

All in all we've selected the HOH Ideal 0.77 F VS1 and is happy with it. Thanks all for the input and advices!! :)

I think the price for your stone is pretty decent. I got a 0.74 G VVS2 recently for 5.8k.

Congrats!

Thx everyone and esp Miltah. I end up taking the .44 G VS1 due to its better fire over tbe .45 E VS1, although I personally can tell the yellow hue difference in G over E.
