Thanks. I upgraded my Twrp. The one I am using is an older version. Then do a wipe on the mipad. Install Havoc 2.7 and use nano version. Everything is working.

get multi language version if u know how to flash cos it should be alry unlock bootloader and flashed other ROM alry..

Go for Mipad 4. The havoc version can call, message, whatsapp, wechat, smooth scrolling and GPS works. No complaint and even can play pokemon go.

Last evening, I managed to unlock, install twrp and Havoc rom. 2 weeks ago, my Mipad 4 arrived and my original China Rom don't work for the GPS outside of the box. It may be great in China, however, it may not be suitable outside of main land.

With a little bit of research, I finally change the rom. And the Havoc rom is great. GPS working and the best thing, you can used it for mobile calling, watsapp, pokemon go and etc.

I got stuck on the installation on the twrp but I used part 2 of the Kommando to install the twrp. I download the whole pack here but I used part 2 only: https://goo.gl/jcJFZ2

3 hours to go

Edit 1:
Guys, does the first boot takes a long time? It has been around 10 mins.. the screen still shows havoc OS boot up screen (the two blue dots chasing each other)..

Did I mess up? Edit 1.5: I did mess up, when I did correctly.. the boot up took less than 1 mins

Edit 2:

I tried to power it off.. now it totally cant boot up.. Going to let it rest and try again later.

Edit 3:

It works now. I re-did all the steps this time and the only changes are:

- Saving and using the rom + gapps on an ext SD card instead of thumbdrive OTG

- Format the ext SD card to exFat (128GB)

- Did not root the mipad with SuperSU

I am keen in Mipad 4 due to the good reviews but I am a noob and would rather not root the device or change the OS. A few questions:

1. If I buy from Qoo10 and Lazada sellers, only Chinese ROM right?

2. If I don't change the default ROM, can I log in my Google account and use all the Google services and download apps from Google Play Store?

3. If yes, any simple step-by-step instructions online?

Sorry all these terms are kinda Greek to me. Can you point me to some reading materials on volte? Also, I am phobia of bricking a new tablet. If things go wrong I won't know what to do. Is there a step by step guide to Havoc OS? Thank you.
