I buy black cause initially I wanted a black iPhone X series. Last year bought my iPhone X silver, then wanted XS black. However the gold colour attracts me so for my XS and XS Max I bought gold and hence XR I bought black.

thats true, my iPhone X was black. XS is gold. thinking of XR either black or red

Ok I feel for red. I have a guy Friend using red iPhone 8. But for me red is not my kind.

Even last time iPhone 6s I also never go for rose gold, but I choose gold instead

Colour of the phone not really important if you are going to fit a case since the front looks the same for all colours.

Wanted to get a red iPhone 8 plus at SingTel shop when it was initially released. But back out and got a space grey in the end.

Personally feel that may get tired of other colours other than black or space grey after some time.

Last week went down to Apple Orchard cos my xr white got intermittent wifi connection issue and sometimes no 4G signal. The apple staff there did a 1-1 exchange for me without fuss.
They gave me a brand new set.
I did troubleshooting on my end but still cannot resolve the issue so no choice but quite happy with the efficiency as they did 1-1 on the same day
This is where Apple excels yes although iphone is expensive, the extra costs goes to good after sales service and able to retain its resale value
In the past my iphone 7 plus unable to power on they also did a 1-1 exchange for me. Not the first time they gave me a brand new set when my unit got problem
I will say it's worth it
The resale value is good. 6 months only drop maybe $50 in value compare to android phones where they can drop $100-$150

Only the yellow color has gold coloured bands around it which is nicest imo but im a minimalist so i prefer the white or black

The one to one exchange not brand new set. It’s a replacement set also known as refurbished set.

Seems like XR is the best selling iPhone in the US market! Even with an “inferior” display technology, camera module, and IP rating, it still managed to attract a lot of customers.

I wonder if this will influence how Apple will market their iPhone lineups in the future. Perhaps making the R series as the flagship and the XS/XS Max alike series as the premium/pro lineup?
