Getting frequent entry mismatch when taking the mrt with my Passion mastercard.

Need to go to the train control room to reset the Mastercard.

They can do that? What does the reset actually do?

If there is a card entry mismatch, the gates will not open.

The train staff will reset the card so that you can enter.

But I've experienced being penalised saying missing entry and $2 was charged when the card was reset. I had to do a dispute to get the correct fare.

I thought that's only for CEPAS card. For credit card I only encountered that they charge me $2 for missing entry or exit. Never gotten an entry mismatch error on the reader using credit card

NETS just gave me a standard reply that the cash back for using contactless nets bank card on ABT is for first one million transactions. Can’t even give an indication if the max was hit by which date or if all the cash backs have been paid out. So disappointing.

i recall reading T&C that rebates to be credited by end Jul, not June.

as per T&C:
You will have to register for Account-Based Ticketing (ABT) Pilot programme on
TransitLink ABT Portal from now and link your NETS Contactless bank card to your ABT
account to participate in the $0.50 cashback per trip promotion, capped at S$20
per card per calendar month during the promotion period.

OCBC NETS Contactless Bank Card promotion credited today.

I managed to get only $15 out of $20 because I had participated the promotion late on 22 May 2019. I recalled that the NETS Contactless Bank Card SimplyGo registration took about 5 days, unlike Visa/Mastercard can use it immediately after registration. Damn!
