I thought Youtrip would give you a physical VISA pre-paid card for your transactions.

The payment and ATM withdrawal should be done by VISA network rt?

Any server outage on Youtrip end should not affect those transactions right?

Yes, youtrip ..given the physical card.

That is like your normal Visa Debit Card...once transacted SMS will be sent to you...indicating the amount sent..is there any issue with that in Genting?

Havent tried in genting...just usual JB. Should work the same with any major banks without additional charges. Just tot it's a "good" resource should any bros be tempted to withdraw from CC. Instead, just top up youtrip using CC and then withdraw. "Saves" on the 25.9% daily interests and 6% on CC cash advance. Of cos I dont advocate. Just in case desperate measures if cant control for the remaining xx day and night if stuck in RWG. :)

Cause the card needs processing time so hopefully can apply in advance and collect on first day. :o

The processing time to get a new card is relatively quick. I will say around 5 min max.

The time-consuming part is the queue at the membership counter which can be quite long if you go during the peak hour.

the processing time is pretty fast for my family members cause I write now their email, address, mobile all on a piece of paper and pass to the staff..I only need to vet the particulars at the screen in front of me..

but we queue for near 45 minutes

ok thats possible
but by then one wld really need a self imposed restriction rather than more convenience i think.

Yeah boy...if it comes to that...hopefully all the bros' rational senses will overcome the emotional ones. But it's tough la. Well, at least minimise the exorbitant interests from CC advances. Hahaha.

The devil will whisper "just draw 1k, you gona make back 10 folds"...lol..

Thanks. I've checked that January rates are cheaper (about 100 RM per night), compared to almost 300 RM during this holiday period. Also cause I don't have genting rewards card. :s12:
