There are fake ones in the market. White, not pink.

White Really? Or you’re referring to another cream called baofuling?

Anyway I had a flare up and body is full of itch and rashes again. Hair is growing back but slowly, very slowly... not sure if those are terminal or vellus hair.. just wondering if eczema is serious enough to excuse IPPT and reservist for a year?

Suubalm is my lifesaver! The menthol ingredient in this moisturizer stops the itch within minutes. Available at most pharmacies.

how about their body wash~?

Cetaphil so expensive... and not effective for my case.

I believe Suubalm body wash is a relatively new product. Have not tried it myself so I can't comment. The same soaps and moisturizers may not be suitable for everyone. Need to try out ourselves to see whether suitable or not.

yeah. sadly most of them are too expensive to try out.

Cetaphil moisturizer costs 49 SGD, tried it on several occasions, always turn out worst even when combined with Cetaphil's recommended body wash.

feels like the world is trying to profit from people with eczema~

I've only tried samples of the the body wash. Very cooling and soothing with the menthol. Doesn't irritate or dry out my skin. You can request for SuuBalm samples on their website to see if it works for you! https://suubalm.com/en/request-a-sample/

Yea, all these products targeting us eczema sufferers are so expensive :( SuuBalm is really the best when it comes to anti-itching during flare ups. I usually stock up on SuuBalm during Watson/Guardian promos, usual price is really too much >.<

I currently use Cerave and Derma E products as well, they're cheaper on iherb so I usually buy there instead of our local stores.

Those with flare ups, have you tried to visit NSC?

If it is serious enough, effects quality of life, try to get oral steroids in addition to steriod lotions or steriod creams.

If necessary, take an allergy test.

My eczema improves once I started eating healthy and taking probiotics available in the market like kimchi and kombucha.

Not only my eczema improves, also my skin becomes more brighter and clears up acne. I have consult with a dietician before and she mentions that usually eczema is caused by having poor digestion and intestinal health.

Do give me feedback if your condition improves by inproving your guts health😆
Yes, I agree with taking care of gut health to help!

I do not have ezcema but my bf does and I've seen him gone through a whole bunch of trial and error with different body wash, shampoo, steroids, pills, creams etc. Not much products worked. Those that did was relatively expensive and not sustainable.

After we researched, we saw that the best and most effective way is to adjust your diet to heal your gut. We both made a conscious decision to change our diet.

We stopped eating white rice and switched to quinoa. Totally avoid alcohol and dairy. His skin has drastically improved since and you can tell the difference both physically and mentally for him.

It can be slightly hard at the start to avoid certain things but it's soooo worth it when you're helping your skin.

Hello currently in NS and recently have gotten a referral to NSC for Eczema from Polyclinic. I realized that I got eczema during poly after coming back from overseas with cracked skin and didn't know it was eczema until it was diagnosed by GP.

Now in NS, especially my camp is in sungei gedong my eczema (on leg only) will flare up now and then. NSC only give steroid cream (3 tube wtf?) & moisturizer. Currently i'm using QV body wash and QV cream moisturizer.

The dermatologist at NSC isn't really willing to write any memo for me to give MO back in camp. I asked about skin patch testing and they say it isn't really needed. Is there any private dermatologist that you guys recommend that I can check it out? Thanks.

Nivea Crème works (for me) on rough patches of skin after Ezcema flare up.

Does anyone know of local shop retailing Head and Shoulders Clinical Strength Dandruff and Seborrheic Dermatitis Shampoo?

Amazon SG only ships from overseas, Qoo10 seems to have removed stock and Lazada prices are exorbitant (SGD 110+ for $15.90 product)
