Shaw was pretty awful against City, wondering why Pep didn’t ask Sterling to switch flanks with Silva.

The base two of Fred and McT is coming to fruition. Fred was all over the field and arguably his best performance so far I feel. Really hope Pogba will be back to play at CAM role.

Lingardinho bobo shooter and 2 of his shots could have more effect if he actually square it across, otherwise another headless chicken performance. But kudos to him for clocking the fastest speed and longest distance for that match.

James tore Anglinco apart and his speed to get back defending and then counter is madness.

Good game overall but can Utd now win against teams who let Utd have the ball? By end of December who should more or less know.

For now, Ole gets to keep his job(unless he screws up from now till Jan) and hopefully Ed release funds for Jan.

Probably the highlight performance of the season thus far, the effort by the team in total is praise-worthy.

LukeS is not doing his own career any favours by being lazy.

Whether we get PaulP back to play the tip of the midfield triangle, or get a new player in, or give JuanM more chances I don't care. All I know is, that position is probably one of our biggest missing pieces now. It felt great that KevinDB got so frustrated that he kick out at ScottM. Proves that we did something right.

Defence wise, VictorL almost went from hero to zero, in that short space when he managed to get a block in, and then almost gave away a goal by messing about in our own third. But the organisation is still a mess, since we conceded to a corner yet again. When can we get a proper defensive coach in? It's not exactly the best thing to expect ScottM and Fred to play out of their skins and cover both the midfield and the defence every match over the course of a whole season.

Looking forward to the other December fixtures to see whether we get that consistency in.

Pogba getting fit again. So, play him? Or?

As they did under Jose Mourinho, United statistically win more games under Solskjaer without Pogba. They had a 64% win rate without Pogba under Mourinho, compared to 56% with. It's 58% under Solskjaer, compared to 45%.

LINGARD WAS FULL OF LEGS

As well as recording the top speed, data recorded by Opta also shows that Lingard covered more distance than any other player at the Etihad Stadium – with 11.88 kilometres to his name.

Jesse’s energy and enthusiasm around the pitch was fundamental to United’s approach, with his pace proving to be particularly dangerous on the counter attack against City’s defence.

Don't play play, the stats don't lie, now what naysayers have to say?

You cannot deny Jessi’s “value” okay. I asked about Pogba and once Jessi bring mentioned, no one talk about Pogba anymore. Ed likes this kind, more followers/flamers to increase post count. Haha.
