Basically, Here's my understanding :
1&2) Mavic Mini CE version would maintain same power regardless of CE or FCC regions.
3&4) Mavic Mini FCC version would operate a max power at FCC region and reduced power at CE region. But CE region still hackable via Fake GPS apps according to your posted video![]()
aiya,
it is important to first find out what power DJI Fly app configures a Mini FCC version's 5.8GHz Wifi at CE regions, before getting a FCC set. That power has to be 19dBm/75mW and not 14dBm/25mW.
DJI Fly configures Mini CE version's 5.8GHz wifi at 14dBm/25mW in CE regions, what if DJI Fly also configures Mini FCC version's 5.8GHz wifi at 14dBm/25mW in CE regions? that's would be like RTH triggered at 50m (under lots of interference). Mini FCC version does not have 2.4GHz wifi.
I hope DJI Fly configures Mini FCC version's 5.8GHz wifi at 19dBm/75mW in CE regions. That's the same power as the CE verions at 2.4GHz wifi. This should have good range of about 100m (under lots of interference). Mini FCC version does not have 2.4GHz wifi.
I do not want to buy a Mini FCC version and ended flying <50m here, if FCC hacks not working. Mini FCC Version could only have 30dBm/1000mW 300-400m range (under lots of interference) when FCC hacks available.
